The following article about meat ration cards issued in Paris in 1793 is reprinted from “Annales révolutionnaires: organe de la Société des Etudes Robespierristes” 9/1917,  pp. 691-693.  It is illustrated by a reproduction of one of the only two meat ration cards which survived to our days.
