Milchkarten im Bayerischen Hochland und Voralpengebiet 1916-1920

Abstract
During World War I there was no general rationing scheme for rationing of milk valid in the whole Kingdom of Bavaria and so the rationing of milk was in most cases organised on municipal level. The only exception was South-Bavaria where a unified milk rationing system was introduced by the authority of the Bavarian Army. The original rationing order about the introduction of milk cards in South-Bavaria is reprinted here with examples of milk ration cards.
