Shortly after the Cuban Missile Crisis in 1962 France prepared a system of ration cards to be used in case of emergency. It is not completely clear when the ration cards have been printed. Some cards exist in slightly different versions indicating that the cards were printed at different points in time. The details of the ration cards and their pictures were printed only in the 1975 annex to the original 1963 instruction. In the following we reprint the first part of the 1975 annex with the description of all ration cards and illustrations of the cards from the collections of the editors (Marius Bochniak and Laurent Nesly).
